The commercial property market in the UK is starting to look up, a new report has claimed.
BDO Stoy Hayward's Commercial Real Estate Review said that while there was a "surprisingly sharp" fall in commercial activity last month - something it attributed to seasonal factors - other indicators were more positive.
It noted that prime yields are "stabilising", June saw a rise in transactions and the total of property returns has come close to zero again, following a year and a half of constant falls.
Commenting that the market appears to be "flattening out", head of real estate and construction at the firm Solly Benaim said: "It is particularly significant that property returns are almost back to zero", predicting that sentiment will continue improving in the months ahead.
Such remarks may encourage those looking to invest in commercial property in London's West End, who may wish to contact Westminster solicitors about such transactions.
Earlier this week the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors said that of all commercial property markets the UK's is one of the "most improved", with more investment bidders per property than in any other western European country.
