|
The use of commercial property lawyers in 2010 may pick up in the south-east as it has been forecast that the region will see matters improve as the year wears on.
A Thames Valley agent for commercial real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield stated that sentiment will "gradually" improve in the coming months as the economy returns to growth.
He added: "Actual demand recovery is likely to be slow, with any increase likely to be led by opportunities for good deals in those markets with oversupply rather than by headcount growth."
This second comment may help those keen to invest in property to discern where the best locations around London and the south-east may be to buy into property in 2010.
The agent's views come after Get Reading commented that the market in the region is clearly improving, as the Pinnacle office building has recently taken on two new tenants - Australian property developers Macquarie Group Services and Catalina Marketing.
