Time to seek property lawyer as London market hailed best?

London's commercial property market is one that has seen the price adjustment happen swiftly, it has been stated.

Property economist at Capital Economics Ed Stansfield said: "The correction that we have seen has come through very rapidly in London and particularly in terms of the City."

While he argued that it is a "little bit strong" to suggest that only London offers fair value now, he suggested that "most people" hold the view that the present time is a good one for investors to get involved again.

With finance still short it is those with cash or little debt who will be the main movers in the market in the near term, Mr Stansfield predicted.

Those keen on investing in London property may wish to see a commercial property solicitor before making any decisions.

Mr Stansfield's comments came after the annual Money into Property report by DTZ said London was the sole commercial property market in the world offering "fair value" at present.
