Divorce dispute wife in eviction fear |

A former wife embroiled in a legal battle over her husband's fortune is facing the threat of eviction from her flat due to non-payment of rent after he failed to keep up maintenance contributions.
Michelle Young faces the threat of being turned out of the home she shares with her daughters as the battle continues over a claim that her former husband Scot has a £400 million fortune.
Mr Young claims to have lost the money and has been given more time to prove this, with the threat of a prison sentence hanging over him if he does not.
Those whose divorce settlements are embroiled in complex issues over finances may wish to speak to a divorce lawyer and also a property lawyer in cases where it may affect rent or mortgage payments.
Last month, chair of the Bar Standards Board Lady Deech argued that women gain too great a proportion of their husbands' wealth when divorcing.
In a speech at Gresham College, she argued that for ex-wives to get half of the money is anachronistic, based on the past when men were always the main or sole breadwinners.
