07/04/2009 Divorce fair set for Leicester |
|
Leicester is to be the next stop on the road for the Starting Over Show, a divorce fair aimed at helping people deal with and move on from a marriage break-up or the end of a civil partnership.
The event is to be held in June to provide practical help and support for people in such situations, following its launch in Brighton last month, the Leicester Mercury reports.
Clive Langley of fair sponsors PSA Financial told the paper the event could be very useful for people who had been through such an experience, something he had done himself.
"Nobody should feel ashamed or embarrassed in coming along, rather they will find themselves among others in the same boat," he commented.
Those facing a divorce situation may wish to take legal advice as well as getting other help.
The fair in Brighton included other services such as formal divorce ceremonies and alternative treatments such as feng shui.
