Madonna has handed ex-husband Guy Ritchie a divorce payout of up to £60 million, according to her spokesperson.
The payout is the largest ever seen in Britain and includes a cash sum and the couple's Wiltshire country home, Ashcombe House.
Madonna's spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg said: "I'd assume it is one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce settlement."
Her payout is more than the £48 million broker John Charman paid to his ex-wife in 2006 and over twice the amount that Sir Paul McCartney paid to Heather Mills as part of their divorce settlement.
The celebrity couple were granted their decree nisi last month with the singer reportedly citing Mr Ritchie's unreasonable behaviour as the reason for the split. The divorce is expected to be finalised next year.
Arrangements for their two children - Rocco and David Bandaare - are yet to be finalised and Madonna also has a daughter from a previous relationship.
