The British Snoring & Sleep Apnoea Association has suggested that people who have a sleep disorder are more likely to get divorced.
Marianne J Davey, director of the association, claims that sleep disorders have a "profound" effect on relationships and the quality of a marriage.
Furthermore, it was also suggested that those who have been through a divorce also suffer from "more sleep problems than married or single counterparts".
Meanwhile, a recent study revealed that divorce can make you look older than you really are.
According to research published in the journal of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, a study of close to 200 pairs of identical towns found that a sibling who had gone through a divorce looked, on average, two years older than their twin.
Study author Bahaman Guyuron said that a person's genetics may initially dictate how a person ages, but if you introduce certain factors - such as divorce, weight gain or drug use - you will "certainly age faster". |
