London law firm William Sturges has appointed Hazel French as a partner at its Trust & Probate Department.
Ms French is dedicated to advising clients on estate and succession planning, residence and domicile issues and taxation.
The solicitor also advises the owners of small family businesses on the complicated issue of handing over a business' baton to the next generation and how to optimise the tax position in such cases.
William Sturge - with solicitors working in Westminster, SW1 and Ealing, W5 - will welcome a member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners and the Association of Taxation Technicians.
Having been admitted as a solicitor in 1995, Ms French has contributed to the Royal Society of Medicine's handbook on planning for retirement. She has also written various articles and is adept at speaking at client seminars.
Ms French previously worked at practices in the West End and the City and has an approach described as practical and unfussy. |
