24/07/2009 Property lawyer demand set to rise as expert sees improvement |

All the available evidence points to the property market having passed the worst of the slump and being set to improve, an expert has said.
Independent analyst Malcolm Harrison stated: "All the reports over the last two or three months have been generally positive."
He noted that this contrasts with the recent predictions of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), which tipped house prices to go on declining over this year and next, with a large chance that values will not have recovered to their 2008 level by 2015.
Mr Harrison added that while it would be impossible to rule out PwC being right, its predictions are at odds with the current indicators.
Those looking to buy a house may wish to speak to a property lawyer about the transaction.
One positive sign concerning the housing market this week was the publication of June's figures for sales of properties over £40,000 by HM Revenue & Customs.
The figure was the highest this year for both the actual and seasonally adjusted totals.
