Ian was trained with William Sturges & Co and was admitted as a solicitor 1966, becoming senior partner in 1987. In this role he has led the growth of the firm from four to twenty one partners.

Ian has specialised throughout his career in property and tax planning matters. He deals with all types of commercial property including the assembly of development sites, industrial, offices and agricultural land. He also deals with leasehold enfranchisement, which is a speciality of the firm.

Ian is a director of a property company and of the well known networking company, The D Group. Ian is a liveryman of the Plaisterers Company, a member of the HAC and MCC and lives in Hampshire.
