John was admitted as a solicitor in 1967 and spent the first few years in the legal department of a large commercial company. He was a founder of Levinson Gray in Westminster in 1973. John joined William Sturges & Co on the merger of the two firms in 2006.
John has vast commercial and company and commercial property expertise having acted for major telecommunication companies and hotel and land development companies.
He has particular expertise in the following areas:

- Cross border group company roll outs, particularly in Europe
- Intellectual property matters relating to the communications industry
- Commercial property related matters, including development

- Conditions of sale and conditions of purchase and consumer terms of sale
- Employment contracts
- Loan and guarantee facilities and securities for advances
- The sale and purchase of businesses and of companies
- The reorganisation of companies and groups
He has developed a special interest in European law by founding and administrating the Association of Independent European Lawyers since 1991. This organisation has spread throughout the world and provides referral lawyers in different countries. |
