Nicholas was admitted as a solicitor in 1979. He has worked in the City and overseas including Paris, Riyadh and the Benelux. Most of his career has been in private practice, but he has also worked as an in-house lawyer for a mining company and a bank. He became a partner at William web21db1 & Co in 1999.
